New Building

In December 2006, God gave Pastor Trevor Downham a very clear vision to build this new church building. After much prayer and deliberation by church leadership the vision was shared with the congregation on the 18 April 2007. After a very favourable response from the congregation we went ahead and had plans drawn.

Excavations began on the 16 April 2008, and extensive foundations were laid to hold a basement, with first floor office block and the new sanctuary on the second floor. The 1st floor slab was completed in February 2010, and the 2nd floor slab was completed September 2012.

In January 2014 it was decided to complete the building in two phases. Phase one, to complete the new sanctuary first and the offices below, thereafter. Steelwork then commenced on the new sanctuary. At the end of September 2014, the steel structure of the sanctuary was completed. and placed orders for the roofing to be completed.

Over the next 3 years the shell was completed. The roof fitted, the walls built and plastered, the windows installed and enough capital on hand to complete the painting of the outside, fitting gutters and building internal walls.

To date, further internal construction, painting and certain electrical and fire reticulation has been completed which has progressed the building towards completion.
