Becomers Programme

The Vision

The “Becomers” programme is designed to provide the opportunity for post-matriculants to combine a year

of ministry and community service with a year of academic studying.

Our aim is that by the end of each year the “Becomer” will not only have achieved their academic goals or
qualifications, but also have grown spiritually, personally and socially whilst being a positive

influence in the lives of those they minister to.

A close relationship with the communityand church is encouraged as it is

through ‘doing life together’that they willlearn more about who they are as individuals who they are in

Christ and how they can be the hands and feet of the gospel.

Kvinneforenning

Kvinneforenning translates from Norwegian to "Ladies Society". Our ladies meet on the 2nd Thursday morning of every month for a time of devotion, fellowship and ministry - and have been meeting without fail since the original settlers arrived in 1882!

Ladies of all ages are welcome, and despite the traditional name, we do speak English!
